How to Open Only the First or All Home Pages when Internet Explorer Starts
Information
Here's How:
1. If you have not already, then you will need to add the home page(s) that you want to use in Internet Explorer.That's it,
2. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools (gear icon or Menu bar) and Internet Options. (see screenshot below)
3. If in IE10, then in the General tab under Startup, select (dot) Start with home page. (see screenshot below)
NOTE: In Windows 8, this would be in the IE10 desktop version.
4. Under Tabs in the General tab, click on the Settings (IE9) or Tabs (IE10) button. (see screenshots below)
NOTE: The addresses listed in the white box under Home page below are the ones that will be used as your home page(s) as set using step 5 or 6 below.
5. To Only Open the First Home Page
NOTE: This will set only the first webpage address listed to be the home page opened when you start Internet Explorer, or click on the Home button in Internet Explorer.
A) Check the Open only the first home page when Internet Exploer starts box, and click on OK. (see screenshot below)6. To Open All Home Pages
B) Go to step 7.
NOTE: This will set all webpage addresses listed to be the home pages opened in separate tabs when you start Internet Explorer, or click on the Home button in Internet Explorer.
A) Uncheck the Open only the first home page when Internet Exploer starts box, and click on OK. (see screenshot below step 5A)7. Click on OK. (see screenshot below step 4)
