    Johnny,

That's fine. OPTION ONE in that tutorial is the same as this one except for making sure that the the Automatically activate Windows when I'm online box is left unchecked.

The other OPTIONS in that tutorial are other ways to do it in case that one didn't work.
oh thank you! i was getting really worried there:L just 2 more question though, how would i format the DATA disk after windows 7 is installed? would i go into my computer, right click it and just click format? also, when i dont uncheck the box, will it bring me into vista and will i have to go back into bios and boot from hdd again??

Thanks a lot for your help i really appreciate it.

If you didn't uncheck the Automatically activate Windows when I'm online box, then you will need to start the clean installation as below over and do it again without it checked.

Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

Correct, you can delete the DATA partition later by just formating it as usual in the Computer window or in Disk Management.

Device drivers will have to be downloaded from each device's manufacturer's website and installed, or downloaded from your OEM (ex: Toshiba) computer manufacturer's website for you specific computer model number and installed.

Windows Updates can be installed by going to the Control Panel (icons view), click on Windows Updates, and click on Check for updates.

Hey Brink, I plan on using this tutorial to do a new system install of win 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a 2 gb partition on a 322gb samsung hd. So I assume that after this is running correctly and is validated and updated I can create another 2gb partition and install Win XP home edition thus creating a Multiboot System??
My System Specs are as follows:
    Biostar A880G+ Mobo
    Amd Athlon II X3
    8gb DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
    322gb Samsung HD
    Thanks for looking

    Hello RJBuild,

Yes, you sure could, but you might give it a bit more than 2GB though depending on how much you will be installing with XP. :)

Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP

    Hope this helps,

    Hello Rebbew,

Yes, a clean install of Windows 7 will delete and then format the partition that you select to install it on. Be sure to backup anything that you do not want to lose first to a separate location.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
