    Thanks for tutorials Brink.
I merge the Add "AHCI Link Power Management-HIPM/DIPM" .reg but I could not get the power options. Looking in the registry I found the key with attribute dword ...2
I'm speaking for Dell xps sata3 ahci. Any idea? Do you advice maybe to remove it?
    Hello notis, :)

Double check the red warning box at the top of the tutorial to see if anything may apply.

If everything checks out, then you might see if restarting the computer may help.

Thanks for quick reply. I've done both.
I'm with two h.disks. First is a SSD Samsung (a clean install). Second WDC WD7500BPKX which is a clone restore with Macrium.
Both with an Os W7. In Bios Ahci enable but it doesn't show if is for both. Can it be only for one of them?
I was trying to enable the power option in the second disk (WDC) for testing performance.
Unfortunately at this moment I don't know if it support Himp/Dimp.
If I let the key with attribute ....2 what exactly it means? Is it okey to let it even if is not showing as an option in Power options? Thanks

It won't hurt anything to leave it enabled (set to 2) if you like.

You might see if merging the .reg file again may help in case one of the approval prompts wasn't approved by you by mistake.

Ok. you are right. There are bigger problems than this in life..
Maybe you know if the dword value is 1 or 0 what it brings?
Anyway... Have a good time... and thanks (again..:))

    Hello Chris, :)

If your internal drives have a SATA connection in AHCI mode, then you should be able to.
