    Great tutorial.
    One question.
Can you upgrade from Windows 7 Beta build... to Windows 7 Beta 1?

    Sorry forgot to ask before.
Can you do an update from a mounted image?

    Thanks.

Hello MoRil, and welcome to Seven Forums.

That is a good question, but I have not tried and do not know.

You can try and see. If it doesn't, it will just give you an error and rollback to the original OS.

    Thanks Brink :)

I did upgrade from Vista 64bit through some error messages.
    But eventually it works well.
Love it much. Runs better than vista (for now)
Just the comodo firewall. First it was reported as incompatible but it works when I reconfigure it.
No driver found yet, so work with Vista 64 driver and scored 2.6 only.

    Keep us posted OK?

Hello Kevin, and welcome to Sevin Forums.

I'm happy to hear that you seem to have running pretty good so far. :)

Be sure to post what device drivers you are looking for in the Drivers forum. I'm sure that one of us may be able to help you find them.

I'm happy to hear that you got it installed and running ok. :)

I hope you get the printer going as well soon. If not, then please post about it in the Hardware and Devices forum to see if someone may be able to help you with it.

    Brink,
Most excellent tute! My other first attempt at dual boot with Vista/7 went afoul when I (for some unknown reason) decided I needed both volumes "active".
Much better to just upgrade, at least for my purposes.
    Thanks mucho!!!!
