    hi

    i accidentally deleted the desktop and the favorites folder and i'm happy to finally find a solution for this problem

    i have one question does this also work on a
    windows 7 home premium GERMAN??

    Other than adjusting for the German name for the folders instead of English, it should still work. :)

    Hello Shawn,

    Thought of adding the Microsoft KB as well the Fixit will restore all the User Shell to default location (The Title might sound different)

    You receive an "Error 1606" error message when you try to install or remove a Microsoft program

    My Document still missing. Can you help me Brink?
    [First time]
    download the file, extract, run it. yes yes ok.
    when i submitt attrib +r -s -h %USERPROFILE%\Documents /S /D at elevated Command prompt
    no result.. i think its ok
    then continue to Shell Command.
    submit shell:Personal
    its take me to my Drive D
    Ok, i think its done. Log off - Log in
    Still no MyDocument at my User Account. But the Drive D gone.
    (its a Drive D icon at my user account before)
    [Second Try]
    Run the download file. Its only yes and ok. (Im a newbie, so i think its ok =.=)
    then when i submitt attrib +r -s -h %USERPROFILE%\Documents /S /D at elevated Command prompt
    its result File not found - C:\Users\Hau\Documents
    ???????

    So where is my document??

    oya.. also when i checked at the registry location.
    i already have my document there.
    The PERSONAL one is it?
    Im missing 4 parts. Saved Games , Contacts , Search ,and Links.
    But its shown at my user account. Is it ok?

    Come out already at my user account, but not at my libraries.
    Libraries
    -Document
    --My Document <--- This one missing
    --Public Document
    Can u help me again brink?

    If i moved my picture / music / video to drive D.
    Drive D become My Picture / Music / Video.
    How do i turn it back??
