Just to let you know those settings using gigabytes current bios works fine. Literally took a second to get through and it's currently installing windows!

You can update your install media (drivers, service pack, windows updates, programs) with this guide:
[Guide] Integration of drivers into a Win7/8/10 image
I've used Rufus to make an ISO in the past, even with a simple user interface, the author told me there was a workflow to follow(select ISO first or something), can't remember specifics though.
does that improved performance over generic install? cuz i only have one ssd and its 250 gig and that will kill what i can install over reg install and i have one reg 1 gig?
thansk
i have a z97 extreme 6 but like u said 7 is the prob thats why it was enticing thanks for the info not gonna bother though u do have a guide on ur site how to do it on 7.
i have one prob praying u can help as im doing everything on iphone , as u know win 7 creates 3 partitions and found a site which got me around so my main hd ssd250 gig is now partitioned as primary(its why i dont want the 3 cuz ill have no space for game install etc) and my reg 1 gig raptor is not setup on diskpart list it says dyn nothing blank and gpt has star the main question is how do i creat partition w diskpart more to the poin which type do i create? as disk o is primary?
thanks
The tutorial below can help show you how to do a clean install of Windows 7 without UEFI. Steps 7 and 8 will show you how to delete all partitions on the disk to install Windows on.
Clean Install Windows 7

thanks
Are you trying to setup a dual boot with this installation on another disk, or is this going to be a clean install with only Windows 7 on one disk?
I was having the same rebooting of Windows 7 installation regardless of media used. I was also disabling CSM, only way to stop this is having CSM enabled. I gain a UEFI install by only having to change option Boot from Storage Devices [Legacy OPROM first] to [UEFI driver first]
All other setting are as per UEFI defaults, ie:-
Fast Boot = enabled
Secure Boot = enabled (with all keys loaded)
OS type = Windows UEFI Mode
CSM = enabled
I don't know if this will help you as you state your disabling CSM to go dual-boot with OSX, but thought it may give you some explanation regarding the rebooting of Win 7 installer, link to my thread on Hexus.net.
