    Hi there,
    Believe it or not, there is a way to activate Windows (XP-7) with another computer. One can even use a smartphone.
    The site to do this is: Self Service for Mobile

    I know, the site is kinda lenghty, but I recommend saving it in your bookmarks

    I have tested this site before by activating a Windows XP Home SP1 VM in Qemu using this site

    A noteworthy thing: This site does change every now and then.

    There also might be issues with Windows Vista RTM Activation
