    Hello Ghost,

I'm sorry, but .sis, .sis.dm, and .php are not supported to be opened by anything by default in Windows 7. If you needed to unassociate them, them you could use the tutorial below to do so.
.js and .ini are available in the tutorial if you needed to reset them though.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Hi there, OMG please do help me. Because for your tip :
    Tip
If you do not see a Merge option when you right click on the REG file, then you will need to check in Default Programs to set the reg file extension to have it's Current Default program set as Registry Editor (C:\Windows\regedit.exe). Afterwards, try merging the REG file again.

I went to right click the AllDefaultFileExtensions & clicked Open With, I found regedit under the Windows file & also once accidentally checked the box whereby all my files would be opened with regedit. Okay, that's still alright.

However, they suddenly prompted that "adding information can unintentionally channge or delete values and cause components to stop working correctly. If you do not trust this information in ...., do not add it to the registry. Are you sure you want to continue" & I clicked yes. Upon clicking yes, they said "Cannot import. The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor" So, please help me I don't know what to do now? All my files are now meant to open with regedit, not to mention the default programmes

Hello itsBeeElle, and welcome to Seven Forums.

The AllDefaultFileExtensions option is a ZIP file that contains all of the REG files for the files extensions below it in one downloadable ZIP file instead of downloading the individual REG files for specific file extensions.

Was there a specific file extension that you were trying to restore?

Hello, I just want to click the merge option & continue with the other steps so as to have all programs run normally again with the appropriate files <:

Ah, ok. For that, you want to download and merge the exe and lnk (LNK) options instead. :)

There's no option for merging though. I tried out your tip and set that file to be opened with Regedit & it mentioned about binary files & all. Would you be kind enough to provide me with some screenshots please? <:

The link in the tip box above will give you more details on how to, but here you go. :)
