Hello Henry, and welcome to Seven Forums.

What program did you have set to open those files with?

There's not a default entry for .ksd files in Windows, but you should be able to use "Open with" to select the program you were using before mistakenly changing the default program.

Open With - Change Default Program

Hope this helps for now, :)

    Need a .jar filetype association

Hi, Brink. I'll get straight into it.
I accidentally started a .jar file in cmd (as seen in the screenshot) and now it will not allow me to change it back, (in the second screenshot you will see that the "set as default..." button is greyed out and cannot be changed or toggled [I was attempting something when the tick appeared and I didn't see it, thinking I could change it back, I rubbed it off as no big problem, more fool me!]) even through the Set Associations window! It's really annoying me and not helpful for when I attempt to run servers and other programs.
    Could you help at all?
I have included screenshots to show what I mean.
Thanks for any help in advance.
    -Chris.
Edit -- I have included a screenshot of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT .jar just in case you were to ask for it.
Edit 2 -- One last thing. The .jar filetype is the only file that I cannot change the default program with, except for the few that you really aren't (or shouldn't be able to) change by default. Just thought I'd add that in before I go to sleep for the night. Again, thank you for any help you can give me!

    Hello Folfksy,

What Java program and version do you have installed?

I'll install the same, and post back with a .reg file to change the association of .jar back to it. :)
