    mwu,

Nar, but it looks like you may need to reinstall Windows.

You could use the same Windows 7 DVD/USB you created with the product key number on the COA sticker on your computer.

    Default registry entries

    Hi there,

Do you have the default registry entries for .m4a and .aac file extensions? These 2 are missing from the list and if you have them for these files please share!
    Thanks!

Hello Maryam, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

The .m4a and .aac file extensions are not associated with a program by default in Windows 7.

What were you wanting to use with them?

A lot of my music is in .m4a and .aac format and by default they open with Windows Media Player.
Do you know how I can restore the registries for these file extensions back to default?

    Ok Mary.

Downloads for .aac and .m4a have been added to the list. I hope they help. :)
