    Hi
I'm trying to help my daughter who has inadvertently associated windows to everything so can't open anything except WMC

Not sure if I can help as she's 2.5k miles away and can't open remote assistance or in fact anything but a heads up is most appreciated

    Hello Richard, :)

In this case, it may be easier to do a system restore at boot using a restore point dated before she did this to quickly undo it.

Thanks, I guess she'll have to wait until I get there in a couple of weeks..

Hello Karmen, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

ofx files do not have an association by default in Windows. If you like, the .reg file below will unassociate ofx file for you.
