    Rich,

I'm not sure how this is suppose to work. I do not see any command or REG files when I edit the BAT or LST files that will make any changes in the registry.

Ah, communications problem. All I created is a small batch file and list files to create the 5 zip file sets. I was not thinking of actually applying them en mass. Interesting thought though. Maybe a VB Script to provide a list from which you can choose one or more to apply. That sounds like fun .... off to think about it.

PS: I also just updated the zip file.

Hi Brink, when I try and merge the reg file for .exe and .zip I get The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor. My big problem is I can't execute an .exe file, it gives me a not a vaild win32 application, then when I try and merge the reg to hopefully fix, I get the above error, any ideas?

Hello Davey, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if you may be able to do a system restore at boot, with your Vista installation DVD, using a restore point dated before this happened may be able to fix it for you.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Are batch (.bat) files affected? If not, I might be able to convert the files for you. It will probably be tomorrow or possibly Sunday before I can get round to it though.
