Yes, all data on E is backed up on a separate HD. I don't seem to have Minimal Recovery on my PC. I've checked recovery from both a logged in user acct and at boot(F11). That option is not there.

I had this great tutorial lined up for my install of a new SSD tomorrow using an ISO from the links provided but as of today the servers are being taken down! You are forced to use microsofts new downloads page which requires you to input your authetation code in before download. As mine is a OEM licence it won't let me and advises me to contact my vendor
I am working on this now and will bring it up soon with MS (again). You can track progress at Digital River Win7 ISO servers taken down again - Windows 7 Help Forums

Just read about the servers going down at link to get .iso file. Do you know of another trusted site to download the clean windows 7 .iso files from?

Win7 Home Premium x64 SP1 English Official ISO download is still working, as reported in the Heidoc link which says English and Spanish are still up.

Im using chrome browser. Each time I used that link it got to around 1.9 gig downloaded before it failed. Unknown network error once and another time I thought it had downloaded but realised the file I recieved was only 2gig. the burner stated it wasnt a valid ISO file.
Should I be using some sort of download manager?

It is the same link as posted on Heidoc, so maybe the problem is with the Heidoc site?

This is really sad for those that dont get disks provided on purchase, its included in the cost of the machine! I cant even buy a retail version from anywhere reputable, its all Win 8 which doesnt help my case as that os is notoriously bad for music production.
Anyway I'll keep an eye on the situation progress.
