Hello Verzasoft, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Do you have thumbnails turned off as in the NOTE at the top of the tutorial, and restart the computer afterwards?

If so, please post a screenshot of this to see if anything may stand out. :)

Hello, i'm trying to add custom folders, it applies nicely, except for folders that are filled with folder/files and files (with preview), i'd like to change these folder (with the previews remaining) to my custom Live Folders (front/back).
I tried IconPackager, but that doesn't work, i tried a little (very little) in regedit, but that wouldn't get results either.

Hello Nakyoruto, and welcome to Seven Forums.

For that, the tutorial below may work better.

Folder Icon - Change Default Icon

    Hope this helps, :)

    Hello CosmicPoptart,

Is this the tutorial you used to change the folder icons, or was it the tutorial below as per your thread here? If you used the one below, then the tutorial on the first page will have no affect on the one below.

I did use Folder Icon - Change Default Icon, and then put my backup in there and for some reason it made all my folder icons a blank page. Would there be away to get those folder icons back or a default copy of imageres.dll?

Running a sfc /scannow command should also fix this for you since it will restore the default imageres.dll file. You may need to run it a couple of times if it doesn't fix it the first time.
