Hello Luksm, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You should be able to burn the ISO directly to the USB flash drive using "part 2" in the link in METHOD ONE of this tutorial.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

All was going well until format fs=ntfs quick: Diskpart has encountered an error: The parameter is incorrect. See the System Event Log for more information

Bob,

I'm not sure why you would have unless you may have had a typo by mistake. Does using the other format fs=ntfs command without "quick" for a full format work instead? What does the log in Event Viewer (Windows Logs - System) say for this error (middle pane)? You can copy and past the error directly here, and we'll be happy to take a look at it as well to see if something stands out.

Hi Shawn no it doesn't matter if I use quick or not still get the error. System event log doesn't record any errors at the time the error occurs.

Um, not sure why you may get that error since that is the correct command. You might try starting over to see if you may have made a mistake in one of the steps. If not, then you might consider Method One instead.
