You can try it and see. I never have, so I do not know for sure if it will or not. That's all.

My bios does not have a choice for booting from USB. Is there anything available that would allow this short of getting another bios someplace. It might be MoBo related though.

    Hello Blockie,

Looking at page 38 of your motherboard user's manual, you should have an option in the BIOS "boot priority list" to move USB as listed first instead of your HDD or CD/DVD?

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Bill,

You're not having much luck - did you get a refund from Macrium yet?

You can get your pc to boot from usb using PLOP.

D/L and install the free Easybcd 2.0 build 94 . EasyBCD 2.0 Beta Builds - The NeoSmart Forums

Click Add New Entry, click Bios Extender Tab, click Install PLOP.

Select Easybcd bios extender from your boot menu and PLOP will start up - select boot from usb - it has it's own drivers for that.

EDIT: Looks like Shawn has found an easier way for you

Just wondering, whats the difference between formating the usb to ntfs or fat32 ?

It's because i'm doing this for a friend who has an xp era comp (about 6-7 years old) and i'm wondering because the comp is that old do i need to format the usb to fat 32 ?
Or does it just not mater ?

    Thanks
