Yeah, I have seen it, but I'm not to sure how well a portable Windows 7 will run on a USB like that though. I may need to get a bigger USB key to play around with it.

Gee? That means knocking out the Knoppix installation on one of the 16gb flash drives here for a look! Any Windows 7 versions of the Konqueror browser?

It's already saved on quite a few blank disks here already. There's quite a few other excellent tutprials you can look over here as well.

    Shawn,

Thanks again for another great tutorial.

I used Method One and it worked the first time.
Installed it on my desktop.....and WOW! Seven is excellent.
Ran it for a week and installed it on my laptop also.
Both times installed from the USB drive and took about 15 minutes.
Got 2 Sevens during the pre-order sale.
Once you go Seven you'll never go back!

You better believe it's an excellent guide. I've performed other types of installations as well as seeing 7 installed using usb keys made up using the guide here.

The find you made on the UtraISO tool is certainly a plus there as well being lightweight and effective. Keep up the great work! Shawn

Thanks Shawn for the great tutorial on making a bootable USB Key for Windows7, I used the second one and it was easy, now I have windows7 RTM on USB and all went well just 20 minutes to install.

    Thanks again
