Time for an upgrade - my laptop is better than that, apart from the gaming/aero scores.

I am unable to view my WEI now. when ever I click on the system icon in the control panel i get a blank page that says "Page failed to load" This only started a few weeks ago but I have been unable to figure out why. Any guesses?

Hello v8280z, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if running a SFC /SCANNOW command may be able to fix this for you. If not, then a repair install should be able to.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

When I choose to run WEI test for the first time or to update it, how do I check if my computer has run the test before? What if I choose it to run for the first time when it has before? I'm not sure if Dell already did this. This is a new computer from them.

    Hello WF,

Simple, if you have a WEI score, then the WEI test has been ran before. If not, then it hasn't. :)

What's the difference between refreshing the WEI and updating it? Isn't that kind of the same thing?

And thanks for the previous answer.

    You're most welcome WF.

Yeah, it's basically just the same thing. I only use both words since Windows 7 uses both of them as well for it.
