    But then i found the answer somewhere in google, and uhm wanna share in here...

    If u wanna delete files without the annoying Security ... the Take Ownership file option must be done... simply make this registry command using notepad and save as "Ownership.reg" with the quotes... Then Run.

    Just right click the folder and hit Take Ownership... Ur now ready to delete it.

    Yep, that would be close to what we have in our Take Ownership context menu shortcut, but not quite as thorough.

    That's okay, but for a quick partition delete, you can't beat the convenience of the built-in partition editor!

    Hi,

    I deleted the 2nd partition I had with XP and expanded the normal drive I have with Windows 7 to take back the extra space. It is still having me chose between Windows 7 and XP when I boot up the computer. How do I correct this so I don't have to chose between 7 and an OS that isn't even on my computer anymore?

    Hello Dave,

    Since you removed XP, you can delete the XP entry in the Windows Boot Manager, then uncheck the Time to Display the List of Operating Systems at Boot box to not have the Windows Boot Manager at boot anymore.

    Try this one folk...


    Open CMD using Run ( Command Prompt)

    Then type in

    "bcdedit /enum" without the quotes to list up the boot configuration data store

    then after it displays the list of boots configs, identify the name to what you're going to delete...

    example

    vrenwuh35h34534545kkgf

    or

    Current


    type in:
    bcdedit /delete [name]

    where name is the name value and hit enter




    .... That's it. Try rebooting to confirm...

    Windows 7 Partition Deleting Problem


    Hello Friends,

    I found this forum very usefull. I am facing one problem in windows 7, I have 13gb in my C drive where windows 7 is installed but its completly full now i have another partition D: there i have more 13gb its completly free space i tried to go to disk management and then delet the partition D: its showing green label and showing free space but when i am trying to delet it again to make it unallocation but delet partition option is disabled and i cant delet the partition so how i should extend the C:...

    I have also tried partition wizard but and tried to merge from there but not sucessfull it says some files are in used in C: please restart retry or cancel the operation i did restart it starts operation before win start but not succesfull also please help
