Hello Ron, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If by "new Windows", you mean that you have a new retail Windows 7 installation disc to use to install Windows 7 with instead of using the HP "Recovery" and "HP Tools" partitions to do so, then no you do not need it.

You're welcome Ron.

Do you already have the new Windows 7 setup on a bootable USB flash key drive to use to be able to install it since you do not have a DVD drive?

Dear ADMIN, thanks for such a nice tutorial, As per your Tutorial I succesfully shrinked 35GB from my C:/ drive then I wanted to create a new drive with that 35GB Space, According to your tutorial I did the same but in the end I got the Warning-

"The operation selected will convert the disk to dynamic... are you sure you want to continue?"

I clicked on NO as suggested by you in the end of tutorial, But the New drive with that 35GB space was not created, now what to do, plz help me......

Either help me to create New Drive with that 35GB Unallocated space or Help me to combine that 35Gb Space to any of my Exixsting drives....

Thanks in Advance......

Here is the new screenshot Sir, plz help me now to use that unallocated space of 35GB.....

Hello RK,

Could you post a screenshot of your Disk Management window showing all of your drive's layout?

This will better help to determine what your options may be.
