Hello @jacky99, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

The area below the "pin to" area line on the Start menu are recent programs.

Normally "Remove from this list" should remove individual items. You could turn off and on recent programs to clear the list. It will remove all of them, but will eventually repopulate as you open programs.

Gotcha.. I found a workable solution. Apparently I've removed the shortcut arrow previously.
Therefore.. this is the cause that I could not remove the item individually.
Then, after restore the shortcut arrow, so I could choose any item to be removed.
Aha.. don't know what the relationship is.. but all is okay and resolved.
@Brink, however I would like to thank you that you have helped and replied.

Hopefully this is a lesson for others to NEVER Remove the shortcut arrow where you can get unwanted problems to the point of deleting recent item like selected in the start menu.

    Great news.

It may have been the method you used to remove the shortcut arrow overlay. If you like, the methods below work without causing issues.

Thanks, I see it.. I usually use the same way to export the reg file before editing, and merge to restore.
