This is definitely something to try if you like fast browsing... faster than my RAID 0 SSD. I do have 16GB ram though so 500MB doesn't break the bank.

Ramdisks to save your SSD

As people grapple with the rationale for a ramdisk to handle temporary files for browser cache it is important to remember that most people seeking performance are turning to SSD's which are write limited. Thus while the performance delta for going to a ramdisk for browser cache files may be marginal, it makes sense to extend the life of your very expensive newest and fastest NVMe disks that limit the total disk write cycles to ~800.

Using OS storage as cache for HDD
Just wondering if it's possible. I have 64gb SSD which has Windows installed on it. I have 500gb HDD which is my storage. So what I would want to do is set aside 20gb on the OS SSD, to use with expresscache (or similar) to cache the HDD. Anyone done this? How to install?
