Hello Bahramnet, and welcome to Seven Forums.

What is the .iso file for? If it's for XP, then that's why since XP .iso files are not supported.

If it's not for XP, then you may have a corrupted .iso file, and you may need to download a new copy.

How to Burn a bootable Windows 7 DVD

    Hi

I am trying to make a bootable disc so I was looking at a Tutorial on this web site using " Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool " , but I don't understand some of it , below is a screen shot of part of the Tutorial .

quote : PART 1 - How to Burn a bootable Windows 7 DVD

    1) After you launch the app, you will see the Step 1 of 4 dialog box. Here you will navigate to the location of your .iso file by clicking the Browse button. Once you have successfully located your iso file click Next to continue to step 2.
    unquote .

question , what iso file are they talking about ! .

Hello Spike, and welcome to Seven Forums.

The blue Note box at the top of the tutorial can help show you how to get a ISO file for the same edition of Windows 7 that you have a product key for.

This is the .iso file that you would select and use in the steps.

    Hope this helps, :)
