    Welcome to the forum,

The .iso file would be something you download or create,

Are you trying to make an installation DVD or USB flash drive?

    Hello NZ,

You might see if downloading the Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) - X17-58997 ISO file from the link at Dell below may work better for you.
Afterwards, you could create a bootable USB or DVD with the ISO if you like.

    Hope this helps, :)

Thanks mate. Im almost ready to put windows on my new SSD. Its funny because PowerIso couldn't find the USB stick. I had trouble with the USB stick as diskpart wiped the partition then said it didn't have access. Long story short I had to go into disk management and reallocate the volume again. I selected A for the drive and none of my programs could find it. G had become available again changed it it and it became visible.

Ok PowerIso finished its thing and its coming up like the DVD. So far so good. Now Im off to insert my SSD into my Zenbook then change the BIOS boot to USB and run a fresh install.Im pretty sure Win 7 automatically does the alignment. The guy at Austin Computers Perth suggested I run SSD Tweaker to get it running right.Something to do with SSD not liking page file caches. The other store guy argues with him saying windows automatically turns page file off , lol who knows. I'll soon find out.
