    @Sasha,

    I'm happy to hear that sorted it for you. :)

    @Brian,

    Thank you for providing an alternative. :)

    Sorry to dig this up, but does anyone know how to make this work for ALL file/folder browsers in all applications.

    The option in this thread makes the drive letters show up first in Windows Explorer, but if you open Excel (or whatever) and try to open a file, the drop down will show drive letters after the label. Anyone know a way to change that?

    Hi Brink,

    Any suggestions on WATYF's question? I'm also looking for a similar solution.

    Thanks!

    Hello One19, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Sorry, but nothing else so far. This only works in the "Computer" window in Windows Explorer.

    Ok, I'm not trying to belittle this; I'm just confused and am probably missing something obvious. Why would one want to make this tweak?

    So, it's a geek thing and not to accomplish some other purpose? (Btw, I'm not putting down geek things.)
