Hello testrun, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Did you unblock the Blank.ico file first before moving it into C:\Windows in step 2C? If not, then you will need to move the file in C:\Windows to your desktop, unblock it, and move it back to C:\Windows.

If that doesn't help, then OPTION ONE is great for removing the shortcut arrow. :)

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Hi i dont understand the first thing i did is i download the zip, then unzip it at the desktop then did the A,B,D,E,F. Since i didn't find the unblock button in the Blank.ico i did the letter D without doing C. So when i finished it and restarted the computer then it shows me the blank transparent icon like in the warning. So any step by step how to fix this? Thanks.

    Testrun,

No worries mate. Step 3 in OPTION THREE should restore it back to default. If not, then OPTION ONE should also change it to what you select. :)

    Testrun,

There could have been a small mistake made while doing the steps for why it may not have worked for you the first time. I'm happy to hear that you got it removed now though. :)

    Thank you thank you.

So happy I came across this.

Now I can use it on my Vista laptop too.

Had no idea the program existed.
