    Anoopsingh,

Does your Windows Key work with any other keyboard shortcut using it?

    Hi Brink,

I have a little issue here with search... If I invoke search when I'm in a folder, the search will run - it will do the search. But if I open "Computer", the pane that shows my volumes - whatever I type in the search box, the sound played (the one that indicates that search is starting), but after the sound... there's nothing, the search didn't even begun... It just stayed there...

    Any ideas?

    Hello Yousaf,

You would type in *.iso in the search box and press enter to search for all ISO files in the folder you have open.

    Hope this helps,

    Hello zzz2496,

You might run Troubleshoot Search and Indexing to see if it may come up with a cause for this.

If it's not helpful, then run a sfc /scannow command to see if it may help in case it's a bad system file somewhere that's messing with it. Also, double check your search options to make sure they are set to give you the results you want.

    Hope this helps for now,
    Shawn

    Yousaf,

Double check to make sure that you have your search options set properly for how you want your search results, and that you have either or both the ISO file extention and/or folder included in the index.

Index - Add or Remove File Types

Index Locations - Add or Remove

Did Troubleshoot Search and Indexing give you anything to check as well?

No, it didn't do anything. I'm now rebuilding the index hopefully it will help.
