Update : I enabled the admin account thanks to the tutorial here and then, I have two accounts : Administrator and Anaon (account with problems). If I use the administrator account, I see no problems anymore! I don't know how it happened but it seems that my main account (Anaon) lost some Admin rights, is it possible?

Is there a way to give my main account the full admin rights or do I have to use the new Administrator account?

    Thanks

    Anaon,

That message is normal and is suppose to be there for all user accounts except for the built-in "Administrator" account.

First would someone please redirect me to the correct thread if it already exists

However my problem is when options go missing that were there i.e. sort by and group
by. I only use three options that is sort by name*/date modified and group by (none*)/date
    modified

*when using sort by name, I do not group by name as this incorporates that annoying A-H
    and so on.

However the group by (none) is not there now.

Hello Mu6z, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

You will only see (None) in Group by unless you have another item selected (checked) in Group by.

Yeah oops I found that out just after I had posted when I right clicked and then to group by I chose
by name (as with sort by) then when going back to group by the by (none) was back.

    what an idiot I was..

Windows groups my files by today, last week, and earlier this year

I don't understand why windows is grouping my files this way. I just want all the files in a folder to line up, and let me sort by date, or name. However, windows seems to have decided that even when I sort by date, I must not know what was today or last week, so they better help me out. I hate it. I know what today is, and I want my files to line up in one long line.

Hello azzkicker, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

Setting Group by to (None) should get you back to normal where you can select to Sort by how you like instead.

    group by option not there?

I can't find the group by options. They don't seem to be in the menus that I'm seeing screen shots of. Where would it be?

Go ahead and post a screenshot showing what you are seeing instead to see what the issue may be. :)
