I have also checked the shuffle option but the background changes only on restarting the computer. What i actually meant to was that the picture is not changing on any given minutes.
I would be grateful if you could help me out.

These may be silly questions, but I have to ask to be sure.
Did you also check more than picture?
Do you have the "When using the battery power, do not use a wallpaper slideshow......" option unchecked?

I have tried all possible things .
I selected all pictures and unchecked the battery power option too but still the pictures are not changing.

I must admit that I'm not sure why it's not shuffling the images for you. If you haven't already, you might see if uninstaling and reinstalling the program as an administrator may help.

I don't know Chen. It may be something about your computer or setup that is not allowing the shuffle to work.
