    problems with install

Followed directions but after pressing run a note pad window opens with the following
    "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}]"
but no further instructions or choices. I assume the key must be inserted in the registry but where?

    regards

When you double click on the downloaded file,it should be opened with Registry Editor. Download this file to restore .reg file default file associations.

Hello Captrip, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It sounds like your REG file extension associations are messed up and are not letting you merge a REG file.

Double check in Default Programs to set the reg file extension to have it's Current Default program set as Registry Editor (C:\Windows\regedit.exe). Afterwards, try merging the REG file from the tutorial again. :)

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

I see you have split the "Move To" and "Copy To" reg files up, mind if I ask why?

    Hello Ted,

Not at all. I had many people ask to only have one or the other item added to the context menu instead of both, so I just split them to make it easy to add just one or both. :)
