Hello desperanish, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Which menu is this for and which program?

Please post a screenshot showing this menu to see if anything may standout.

Does using step 1D in Option 1 allow you to turn it off?

Did you already try toggling it on and off to see if that may allow it to stay off afterwards?

Are you using a 3rd party program to customize Windows Explorer? If so, it may be causing this, and may have a setting for it.
