Hello Alex, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I've just updated the file with a more current version of it. It is the same for both 32 and 64 bit Vista. Please download it and try again.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

I have home premium x64 and there is a switch user option on the shutdown button options which works just fine.

    Hello Kado,

Correct, the Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions all have this in Start Menu as well. This is just so that someone can have a separate shortcut to use instead. For example, to pin it to the taskbar, or use on the desktop.

Mmm yes I see your point. If home premium doesn't have tsdiscon I wonder how it does it and whether one could tap into that to do something similar.

You can do the "Before" section in the tutorial to download a copy of the tsdiscon.exe file to use in Windows 7 Basic or Home Edition for the shortcut to work afterwards. :)

Thanks for the info Brink. I think for the present I will just stick with the three click method. I don't do it that often.

    hi

I just tried Option 1, the switch user shortcut but it's a broken link, then i tried to create one manually, however when i right click and click new shortcut nothing happens. There is no input field.
