Can I use the default Log On to Windows dialog box like in Windows 2000 and Windows XP in Windows 7 instead of requiring username and password but welcome screen still used.
I know Log On to Windows dialog box is used when welcome screen is turned off. Is there a way to turn off welcome screen in Windows 7 so I can use Log On to Windows dialog box to logon to my user account?
Example:
Hello Jonathan,
Sorry, but no. If you use an enable option in the tutorial, then you will have this below to enter both the user name and password at log on.
I have several questions:
1. When I type valid username, will my user account picture appear?
2. To unlock Windows after wake up from sleep or lock command, what is the requirements? (Enter password only or Enter username and password)
Jonathan,
If you enable this, then you will be required to enter both the user name and password of the user account that you want to log in to. The user account picture box on the log on screen will always be blank when this is enabled.
Yeah, this is great. I want you to know. Is this risky?
If I forget the username, can I use command prompt at boot to create new user?
