Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

Hello Jdop, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Could you post a screenshot of your Disk Management window showing your drive layout? This can help determine what may be happening better. :)

I just attempted to create an Image, and it looks like it should have completed properly, BUT....

Whe I go look at the file size of the "WindowsImageBackup" Folder it reads 4.00 KB (4,096 bytes), Not the 50 GB I was expecting... BUT the available space on my Harddrive DID decrease by 50 GB... so what's up with this? Why can't I see the 50Gb in the folder properties? Is this normal? Did I sucessfully create an image????

Any explanation will be most graciously appreciated.

This folder will not show you it's complete folder size on the Properties page unless you have opened the folder and all subfolders and clicking Continue for each one to grant access. Afterwards, the size should show. :)

50.4GB.. exactly what should be there.. Guess it works after all.

You're welcome CS. It's just Windows way of protecting the backup by hiding it. :)
