You might see if using the tutorial to set unidentified networks to be Private will change it.

Nar, it wouldn't be the 5Ghz band for the issue.

Are you having any issues with being connected to either?

Does it have unidentified networks listed when you only have one type of network connected?

For example, turn off wireless while using ethernet, and vice versa.

yes when i enable the ethernet adapter it shows the unidentified network. if i enable the wireless adapter on its own it dont show unidentified network.

when you switch out new product they the ISP have to make sure they have it in there system they can switch out all the new stuff they want but in the end they need to make sure it is the same equipment they have logged into there service

I am saying this because they did this to me and my family I asked to change my service plan and to change who was paying for it they gladly sent me on my way but they never mentioned on there end they have to make sure the Model numbers matched the equipment there managment services said you are using when it was all said in done they had to re input router and modem information in there systems to work properly and mind you same house same line just better plan and billing name changed

I know it sounds way out there but that is exactly what we had to do to get it corrected because the ISP failed to mention they had to have the devices input to there system as well
