Memory Diagnostics Tool

I ran the tool, but after minute press F1 to change settings to ''extended'' and cache to ''disabled''. I press F10 to start test but all fields shows something like ''Running test pass _ of _: _% complete'' and ''Overall test status: _% completed''.

Not problem have been found yet. Although t e test may appear inactive at times, it is still running. Please wait until testing is complete

I waited 2-3 hours but nothing happens. After that press F1 and change options to basic and test ran and progress shows. After a while I presss again F1 and chage settings to extended cache disabled, pass 3 etc. and test ran successfully. Why this happen and why I have to change multiple time options to have success?

Now testing with memtest86+(6 hours - 3 passes and 0 errors). How many passes are enough? I have 2x8gb and want to test because of this. I'm not sure, how many ''beeps'' heard...3-4-5 short, perhaps.

I will test too with hci memtest, to be sure 100% that memory not the culprit. How many copies have to run? I have 2x8gb geil evo potenza.
