    Yes, of course.. The OS you're using won't make any difference to the image you're working with for the Start Orb.. I took the screenshots for this on my XP machine simply because my Win7 PC is at home and I was at work, but I use the exact same procedure at home in PhotoShop on my Win7 Ultimate x64.

    For all those watching this thread; major tutorial overhaul! Lol... I pretty much re-wrote the entire thing. Kishan updated his Windows 7 Start Button Changer (W7SBC) to a version that allows any DPI setting Orb to be set, so I updated my tutorial accordingly.

    How to Create and Finalize a Start Orb

    This tutorial uses random google images skillz. Enjoy!!! XDD

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1. Search for the image! How to Create Custom Start Orb Image-tut1.png
    2. Open it in Paint or Photoshop or GIMP, etc. ( I used paint)
    Crop the wanted portion! NOTE: It is OK if you choose a circle and crop it as a square or rectangle, but manage to get closer to the orb image.
    3. Save the newly cropped pic in a random folder. (I named mine "orbz")
    4. Download the Start Orb Studio attached!
    StartOrbz Studio.rar
    5. If this is your first time using it, you want to select the second option, create a new orb...
    7. Add effects from the bottom.
    8. Click on the save icon in the top right corner next to "X" Button.
    9. You're done!!! XDDD You can make even better orbs by choosing circular images! Also, you need to choose transparent background...
    Below I have included two of my own popular works...
    Hi windowsapple, I've always preferred to create my own images for the Start Orb with a proper picture/photo editing program (and I think many other people do too) instead of using a 'wizard' type app like that.. But that's just personal preference.
    Just a thought, but why don't you create a new tutorial covering that app instead of doing it as a comment here..? I think quite a few people, especially those that don't have PhotoShop or GIMP would find it very helpful.
