    1. Yes it is an HP machine.
    2. I ran it again without touching it. Same result.
    3. I also noticed that the diskrestorex64.exe was not in the macrium section of the mount folder. I am on v5 and I extracted it from a reflectpe.iso that I had created earlier using 7zip and copied it to the program files reflect folder.

I have attached images of the contents of the folders.

    Thanks,

Can fix the Diskrestore thing easily.

Could you run this .cmd and post up the text file it outputs? Thanks.

    Hi Kado

Replace the runmeasadmin.exe with this one.

    RunMeAsAdminV2.zip

Let me know how it goes...

    Hi SIW2,

That seems to have done the trick. I produced a disk I can boot from and restored a small test partition using diskrest.

I will have a proper look around over the weekend. I think I will also attempt to put it on a USB stick. I don't particularly like DVDs.

I thought I might try adding it to my Yumi pendrive.

I have managed to add it to Yumi and had a good look around. It's like Xmas has come again. Great product.

I seem not able to make differential nor incremential backups with the Macrium Free.

    Is there a workaround ?
