Since a couple of other people have that problem too, it must be that Expression 4 Encoder that does make it special. To Keith I have suggested to convert the .wmv to MP4 or AVI to see whether that helps. But then again, some other people have no problem at all (including all the systems in my house). Go figure.
Hmm, I guess that means that I have to use another screen capture program in the future. Fortunately I have a small selection. This is really a poor performance of this $200 Microsoft Expressin Encoder 4. I will also have a look whether the sound can be boosted during the encoding phase.
I use CamStudio which produces high quality AVI but I don't know how good the sound is as I normally turn it off and use annotations instead. This is one of my videos.
