Imaging with free Macrium

    What type of drives are you using? Are you imaging an entire drive or a partition?

    I use a Seagate ST1000DL 002-9TT153 SATA DiskDrive.

    It has the following partitons.

    And i want to back up C first and after D, and when running, I will setup differential.

    I would start up a full backup of C, when I got the issue.

    I also would try Windows Backup, and here I think the culprit is to be found.

    Yeah, Windows Backup doesn't tell you what it's doing.

    Here is something you might want to have a look at. Make sure you backup the registry before you manipulate it.

    That refers to the Event System Service which could be mucked up.

    When I did this:

    Code:
    ren %windir%\System32\Clbcatq.dll Clbcatq.dll.bak
    I got a denied info, and I ran cmd as admin ?

    just downloaded your pe iso and burned it...it worked perfectly and solved a problem we have been having with the linux rescue. thanks again from florida.
