Hello pcfan.

Are you remembering to leave the DOS window open while the cleanup runs?

Hello Pcfan,

You may have just made a typo in the command. If you haven't already see if Copying and Pasting the command in the command prompt may work better. Be sure that you leave the command prompt open while using the extended Disk Cleanup.

Hope this helps for now,
Shawn

Suddenly my Disk Cleanup will not start using Disk Cleanup.exe. I now have to go to Start>Run>cleanmgr to get it to start and that won't pin to the Start Menu which is where I want it. Using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
