As far as I know, EasyBCD can help out with this.

Follow carefully Method Two, Steps 7-12 in the tutorial using EasyBCD 2.2 to add Win7 back to the Dual Boot.

If this fails please post back a screenshot of your maximized full Disk Mgmt drive map with listings, using the Snipping Tool in Start Menu.

If you've repaired Win7 so that it is booting now, install EasyBCD to try to Add XP.

Are you using a separate HD for XP? If so, make sure it's set first to boot in BIOS setup.

If not, try install again. This time delete the XP target partition using XP CD, create New there and full format.

I think that XP installator only copied system files and didnt install anythink.
I have 2 HDDs, one for Windows (Reserved 100MB, C: Win, D: Empty) and second for data (Samsung 1TB). Both SATA.
When I wanted to install XP on D: (I deleted and created that partion again in instalation), I got error that XP needs to put some files to my 1TB HDD. I didnt want that, so I turned PC off, and unplugged 1TB HDD.
After this, XP instalator copied (or whatever), but after restart, I get this error mentioned above.
But youre maybe right, I have problems with BIOS, it always change when I do something with my hardware and nearly always fails to boot up after some changes.
Im going to look, if that first HDD is set first at boot.
/Still same..
Btw, full error: A disk boot error occured. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot.

Unplug all but the Win7 HD, boot the Win7 DVD or REpair CD to make sure Win7 partition or it's 100mb System Reserved boot partition (preferred) is still marked Active: Partition - Mark as Active

Then from DVD/Repair CD's System Recovery Options select Startup Repair - Run up to 3 Separate Times until Win7 starts up.

Post back a screenshot of your full Disk Mgmt drive map with listings, windows maximized, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu.

Keep your DVD/CD drive set to boot first, then the Win7 HD. Plug in the 1tb for the screenshot.

I need help... I have tried for 12 hours to get this right. I have used this guide and many others, read posts and tried solutions from other people's problems. Nothing seems to work. Just when I think I have it right, I reboot and I get NTLDR IS MISSING. I have formatted about 6-8 times, and rebooted about 50 times....

I used this guide, step by step, both methods letter for letter and nothing is changed.

I hope these screens will tell someone something =\

Win7 is currently installed to C:
WinXP is currently installed to D:
