How to Change the Button Icons in Firefox
(Be sure to make backups of your images in the case you mess up, this is for semi advanced users)
Step 1- Open WinRaR and navigate to C: Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/Chrome/Classic.jar. Go into the Classic.Jar
Step 2- Drag the folder named skin to the desktop.
Step 3- Go into the folder thats on the desktop (should be named classic) , then into the aero folder, then into the browser folder. The images to be modified for the Toolbar buttons are named Toolbar.png. (there may be more images that you want to modify, but we are going to focus on the Main toolbar images ).
Step 4- All of the images are to together in one .png file. The easiest way we have found to modify them (using photoshop) are to use the rectangular marquee tool to select the images and make a "layer via cut". Make all the layers of the buttons that you want to modify.Step 5- After making the image the way you want it, save the image to the desktop and name it, of course, Toolbar.png.
!!!!
Step 6- Now open WinRaR back up if you closed it and navigate back to C: Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/Chrome/Classic.jar. Go into the Classic.jar and navigate to skin/aero/browser and overwrite the image. Make sure Firefox is closed while replacing the image!
Your Done, Now open Firefox and Enjoy your new buttons!!!
