Yeah got that one implemented already thanks Brink.

Spent ages analysing, not realising that the best superuser answer was, as usual, inaccurate, and that regfromapp and folderchangesview (procmon is a bit over my head, too much noise or I fear I filter out what I first hope to find) do not detect processes being launched...

I'm guessing it's simple: run dwm

now to solve a real problem! error 4201:instance name passed not recognized...

The reg file doesn't work in my case. I can still disable Aero Peek in Visual Effects. I checked the registry key in regedit and it's there. Can anyone please tell me what's going on? Of course I restarted the computer after applying the reg file, also this is a fresh Windows 7 fully updated to date.

Updated: It is disabled, but the box in Visual Effects is still checked. I think it's a bug in Windows itself, any idea to solve it?

    Hello Peace6, :)

The best way would be to uncheck the box in Option 3 and apply.
