Good news! I GOT SLEEP AGAIN!!! My RMA replacement MSI Z97 Gaming 7 mobo arrived today and as soon as I got it up and running my 'Sleep' entry was back in my Shutdown Menu. It must have been that ASRock board that wouldn't shut off that was causing issues with my Sleep function. Just thought I'd let you know what happened. Thanks for all of your help and time.

    Hello.

Yes, you can remove Sleep from the power menu using an option in the tutorial below. Most is the same in Windows 7 as well.

Brink, Failed to remove the "Sleep" button, I used the file Remove_Sleep_in_Power_menu.reg from your link.

I find option 1 to work best.

What are you not seeing in option 1?

Go ahead and post a screenshot of what you're seeing with option 1 to see if anything may stand out.

If you like, here are two more options you can see if they may work for what you want.

These are all possible options. The operating system is Russian localization, and there is no possibility switch to English.
(I can not understand how in this message remove not necessary images)

I don't see the settings available in your screenshots either.

If you like, you could use one of these below instead.
