Quick Launch - Enable or Disable

    You could do step 6 to check Show Title to have it look like the screenshot under step 4 instead.

    Thx for attempt to help but this method doesn't work.
    I find another method by myself, all what you need to do it rename Quick Launch folder to nothing
    Just RMB chose rename and then hold Alt and type on num pad 255 and release Alt. But right now i'm not sure what action will take new app. with this blank folder name.. anyway add shortcut really easily just dragging on arrow.

    Update
    I hurried, this method work only with "lock taskbar off"
    With "lock taskbar on" can see a piece of the icon. =(

    I doubled the height of the bar and drug QL to the bottom.
    So the new TaskBar is on the top row and all of my QL shortcuts
    are aligned on the bottom row. I always Auto-Hide the bar anyway.
    Plus i chose not to show any desktop items. My desktop is totally
    blank because that is the way i like it.

    why there is Disable " Quick Launch " after restart computer ?

    after restart computer Hide Quick Launch , there is not Quick Launch

    when I add the quick launch bar ,then restart the PC the bar disapear .

    Note : I've installed the Windows 7 by the "VMware Workstation"

    I'm not sure what it may be since I do not use VMware. It may be some setting that you need to change it in. Hopefully someone that is more familiar with VMware may know of solution for you on this.

Hi. I want to have the shortcuts be placed ON the taskbar as shown in the screendump attached to this query. I have read about quick launch here on the forum, but I cannot get the dotted bar at the right of the start be moved. How can I solve the problem ?

I heard that the Quick Launch Bar has been removed in Windows 7. I sure hope that isn't true. Maybe someone will write a third party app to replace it. I use it over a hundred times a day. I would miss it greatly.
I now have these quick launch buttons working but I was wondering how can I change the defaut programns they open. e.g. The email button opens Outlook but I want it to open Windows Live Mail. REP will be given.
