Hello Ted I am wondering how to get rid of a 101MB partition I created when I was fairly new to this and failed to wipe the drive before I redid the tutorial by Wolfgang on aligning the SSD.

So I ended up with a partition that is unallocated that I cannot remove?

John, its important to look at the partition layout first:

I've followed Greg's tutorial for the clean install, and I've stumbled upon this thread. Do I need to do what the thread starter is saying? I'm a novice in this field.

Always best to start with a nice clean HDD.

Thought Greg might have put this in his tutorial.

Sorry late rely Golden I have been busty with cooler problems. in the pic I think I messed up when I first got a SSD and redid Wolfgang's tutorial on alignment thinking it had not "taken".
It causes no problems but I would if possible like to get rid of it

    Use Partition Wizard to :

    1. Move System Reserved into the 101MB Unallocated space,
    2. Resize C: to the left into the unallocated space that will sit between System Reserved and C: after performing Step 1 above.

Hmm don't know what went on there but I have this now. I tried moving that 100MB but it left it at 99MB an still that irritating unallocated thing at the front and now there are three unallocated partitions.

Ah well the thing is running I suppose isn't the end of the world
