How to Add "Defragment" to Context Menu of Drives in Vista and Windows 7
InformationThis will show you how to add Defragmant to the context menu of all hard drives in the Windows 7 and Vista Computer window to make using Disk Defragmenter easier to use on a selected hard drive.
NoteWhen you use the Defragment context menu item, you will need to click on Yes (if administrator) or type in the administrator's password (if standard user) if prompted by UAC. Afterwards you will see a command prompt flash open until the drive is through being defragmented.
WarningSolid State Drives (SSD) and USB flash drives do not need to be defragmented. Doing so may shorten the lifespan of them.
