    SBS 2003 in Virtual PC

I'm uncertain how to configure SBS 2003 in a Virtual PC in my environment. I'd appreciate suggestions. I do have SBS 2003 installed in a virtual PC; the question is just one of configuration.

I have several XP and Win7 machines in a workgroup with a router at 192.168.20.1. Router provides DHCP (192.168.20.100-199) and DNS to the local network. In one of the Win7 machines I have SBS 2003 installed in a virtual PC. I want SBS to be a local domain and to be able to logon to it from another physical XP machine. It's ok but not required if the virtual PC and test machine are in a different IP range than my regular network and I can use static IPs for the test machine if that helps.

I'm confused about how to set up IP addresses, DHCP, and/or DNS to allow that without disturbing my existing network.

Any suggestions are appreciated! Or, where would be a better forum to ask this question?

Its actually much simpler than you might be thinking. With the virutal SBS installed, just make sure its network is connected to the same network your host machine uses. From them on it will act and look just like another computer on the network. Just remember, when the host machine is off, so is the server.
