Windows xp mode big help needed

I need help with my Windows XP mode QUICK!!

I know that the game Test Drive Unlimited 2 is coming out over here in England in Feb2011 and I am buying the game, but I dont know if it would work on my system so
the other day i bought the download for Test Drive Unlimited 1.
I downloaded all the files even the patch what comes with the download as well as getting an email with my activation code.
I installed the game on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit, but when i went to play it the game did not work. So i researched and it doesnt work on 64Bits, so i reinstalled my Windows 7 on a 32Bit and then found out i need it in compatibility mode with also disabling Aero view as well as none basic themes. so i did these settings, it comes up with a black box when trying to run the game again then it goes back off and the game stops running. So i thought it might work if i run it in Windows XP mode, so i uninstalled the game, downloaded and installed Windows XP mode then transferred my games data on to a flash drive then opened the flash drive on the XP mode and transferred the game data to the XP desktop. I then installed the game activated the game thinking this would work, then i had to restart the whole computer before i could patch, so i restarted the computer, opened up XP mode again ran the patch application said it was patched, i then tryed to run the game application, but it said not enough system memory. So i then transferred as much memory across to the XP mode as i could (502MB), and thought this isn't enough for the game, as the game needs 1GB, (1024MB) so what i did was use the flash drive from earlier (which is now empty) and used it as extra virtual memory half for my laptop (windows 7 ULT) and other half on the Windows XP mode, and then it came up with a box again, but now saying

"This application is not compatible with the installed operating system.
Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or better."

but, i am running Windows XP mode with the SP3

which is much better than 98 and 2000,

and i really need this game working to test the game to see if it works before wasting my money.

    Im running Windows 7 Ultimate 32Bit on an Intel Core(TM)2 CPU T5200 @ 1.6GHZ, 2 Core(s), 2 logical processors with 1GB physical memory, 2GB virtual memory on a Hewlett-Packard Presario V6000
i have all the latest updates for Windows 7 Ultimate, and also the XP mode

the game Test Drive Unlimited 1, is the proper game and is paid for.

    please help!

also just tryed with the compatability mode through Windows XP mode to 2000 see if it worked
and comes up with same message

Hi John, welcome to the Seven Forums.

I'm sorry to say but I doubt you get the game working on XP Mode. It's not designed for games. XP Mode, as all virtual machines, uses so called emulated hardware, it can not for instance use your host machine's (Windows 7) graphic card. All Virtual PC machines emulate an old, simple S3 Trio graphics card, which can not run modern games.

You could try installing XP to an Oracle VirtualBox or VMware Player virtual machine, but even then I am quite sure the game is not going to run.

    i thought as much
well would you think that if i get my hard drive and partition it so i can multi run xp and 7 on one hard drive
do you think this would work?
and the game isnt modern as it came out a few years ago

:) It's modern enough, XP Mode really is not for games.

I think your best shot is just that, to make a dual boot system Seven / XP.
